Ruff Start Rescue: Mission Statement: Ruff Start Rescue is dedicated to saving the lives of animals in need. We improve animal welfare in communities through adoption, education, and providing resources for people and pets. Research: Right now, Ruff Start Rescue is saving as many animals as possible. They cannot take in too many because they have foster homes and don’t have a shelter. They have loving homes and they make sure the dogs have everything they need. They help pay for peoples vet visits if they cannot afford them. Ruff Start Rescue is a great organization and needs as much help as possible.
Animal Folks: Mission Statement: Our mission is to protect animals and prevent cruelty through constructive and sustainable reforms of the Minnesota criminal and civil justice systems. What the organization is doing to make a difference: They have fundraisers and shelters for the animals they take in. They also have many volunteers who help rescue animals and help them recover from the abuse they got. They are actually taking a step and helping animals all over Minnesota.

Can Do Canines:
Mission Statement:Can Do Canines is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for people with disabilities by creating mutually beneficial partnerships with specially trained dogs. We envision a future in which every person who needs and wants an assistance dog can have one.Results: More than 700 people with disabilities have received their own fully trained assistance dog, free of charge.
The work that the organization is currently doing to make a difference: Can Do Canines are currently helping disabled people have a trained dog. They want everyone that needs an assistant dog to have one. They are helping people that are left out feel like someone. The people that get dogs from this shelter love them. Can Do Canines are amazing. They do everything they can to make people feel happy.
